Frequently Asked Questions
Everything You Need to Know
Leaving your pet with a stranger is never an easy decision, and I’m sure you have a lot of questions about how it works. I’ve compiled some of the most common questions into the list below. If you want further information, just get in touch.
What areas do you currently cover?
I currently cover Wembley, Harrow, and neighbouring towns at this time. I may consider further locations, so do feel free to get in contact first so that we can discuss if I am able to cat-sit in your location. I can be flexible, so please do not hesitate to contact me!
How do we arrange payment?
Once I've received your booking and we have discussed all the needs and requirements, I will send an invoice via email of the total including any peak fees (depending if any of the days fall on a holiday). The payment can be done with a Bank Transfer or via PayPal depending on which is more convenient. I kindly ask that payments are made in advance of my cat sitting services.
How much do you charge for the visits?
If you are looking for Daily Cat Care, the starting value will be £15 per visit (holidays may differ).
If you are looking for Overnight Cat Care, the starting value is £40 per visit (holidays may differ).
Do you have any external reviews from other cat-sitting applications?
A great question! I certainly do :) I have a wonderful testimonial section on my home page that have been added from a wonderful platform called Cat In A Flat where my journey started!
If needed, how do we arrange the parking?
You may be living in a block of flats where there is designated or permit only parking around your home area. If you're able to provide a permit, this would be preferable to allow me to easily come to your wonderful home and leave safely. Otherwise if there is available parking on the street and additional costs are required, I will kindly add this to your invoice prior to my care of your furbaby.
What if my cat needs to see a vet?
In the very unlikely event that your kitty needs veterinary treatment, I will take them to your registered vets to be treated. I do carry a Personal Liability Insurance under circumstances such as this and I will ensure that the cat is in the best care. There may be additional costs to in case additional care is required for your kitty/kitties.
Will you send me lots of photos and videos of my furbaby/furbabies?
Oh absolutely! I love taking lots of videos and photos of my time with each furbaby~ If you prefer just a couple of photos/videos or you would love lots, just let me know in advance!
My furbaby/furbabies love(s) the outdoors. Should I leave the cat flap open or arrange with you to let my furbaby/furbabies out?
This is often a very difficult question to answer but it sometimes depends on how confident your furbaby/furbabies are. Ideally, it is always good to keep the same routine to avoid any stress, so if your furbaby/furbabies love to go outside, it is good to keep the cat flap open for them to continue their access outside.

If your furbaby/furbabies are more shy or nervous about new people, I do personally advise that the cat flap to be locked to ensure safety and of course, peace of mind!
What is your cancellation policy if I do need to cancel?
A very good question to ask!
I totally understand that things and circumstances do change and it is out of our control, you just never know what might happen!
If you do need to cancel within 24 hours of the start of the booking, I'll be able to refund 50% of the booking for you.
If it is more than 24 hours, I'll be able to refund 100% of the booking to you.

My kitty has medication that they will need to take, are you able to administer?
Absolutely I can :) I can administer any due flea treatment, worming treatment, oral medications, or medications that can be added to food. I currently don't have experience with injectable medication but am working towards to developing that skill!
Are you fully insured?
Yes I am :) I am currently insured with Pet Business Insurance Ltd. Click here to see their website!
